I Love Geography!
It all started when I’m grade 2, presumably, I was 8 years old. We’ve bought this kiddie almanac and it contents the world map and the countries’ flags. I stared few of the flags but not memorized them. This is a funny story I got. One day, one of my classmates asked where Brazil is.
I answered it’s in Japan, ‘coz I remembered the flag of Brazil has somewhat lights - like those you see in night clubs and they are plenty in Japan! Hahaha. But my seatmate said it’s in America. Then we argued about it. Poor me. But now I’m sure it’s in America, to be exact in the south. When maps come to my mind, I scan the almanac, but not memorized them. It’s just when I’m already a teen when I have gotten interest in this field and it’s amusing. You know it’s fun and great enriching yourself with the new and existing facts you still don’t know. And I’m always discontented - when I have memorized a single flag, I want to continue memorizing the other flags. Being in this career is cool and awesome! Though I don’t know where to use my skills in geography, I still want to pursue this career because this is one of the things where I find happiness and knowledge. In addition, this is only one of my few specialties and without this, I will be an ordinary person. And the application for this career is…secret.
Aside from my dream of becoming a successful professional registered nurse, I want to become a walking world map :). And I’m determined.
